Starting Small
For the very first Eco Pro Tip we will present to you the video that inspired this little blog:
In this brief TED video, Joe Smith explains how to properly use a paper towel – just one! – when you visit a public restroom.
This method can also be used for those paper towels you use to mop up kitchen counters!!
I posted the link to this video because the idea behind it so perfectly sums up our purpose here: collecting simple, easy to change habits that all build up to make a dent in our collective material usage. We both know that we’re all taxing the planet’s natural resources to an unsustainable point. All those grand plans to change the way we do everything are optimistic but we want to me make an impact at this moment, we want to be a part of the revolution. So to help you participate, we’re going to keep offering these little Pro Tips for the environment, and you can just make them a part of your day to day life. We already do!
